Re: Bad Apple
According to something or another I saw on the internet the most-used thing on an iPhone is the camera. Therefore, the word is that next year Apple will do nothing to their current device; they will merely rename it the iCamera. (ETA — And the sheeple will still stand in line to buy it. *sigh........

Just a thought, Gob — I understand that you are quoting something that you saw or read, but could you please provide a link or some other indication as to just what it is that you are quoting?

Re: F-22 Bloodies Its Talons
The A-10 is a good plane and there is no REAL reason to retire it except to free up budget for the F35 which can't do the A-10's job half as well as the A-10 can. It's just that the F35 can do several other jobs "adequately" (so they say) and the Military's bean counters say one plane doing 3 jobs ...

If that's an example of Canadian chic, then we need to build a wall on the northern border too.

It is obvious from the chart that cars are killing fewer people each year in motor accidents, but that gun deaths are remaining constant. Even as the total amount of guns in the public realm has increased. Medical science has gotten better — sadly, through experience. http://www.picgifs.com/smileys...

I remember another nation who tried to make the world over in their image.
Their leader claimed that their vision would last for a thousand years.
They only missed by about 990.

You forgot the six figure speaking and appearance fees. Anyone who wasn't rich before they became President, surely becomes so afterwards. But that's not provided by the government or by the taxpayers, and that's what TPFKA@W seemed to be so upset about. http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/smileys-and-e...

Re: President gets Grylled
The job comes with a ridiculous number of perks which I suppose is why anyone would court it at such huge expense. From a quick search on the 'net: Since 2001, the president has earned a $400,000 annual salary (increased at that time from $200K) , along with a $50,000 annual expense account, a $100...

I don't give one whit about which political party blows the money, just that it is being blown. I think these bastards should have to pay out of their pockets for vacation transportation etc, just like the rest of us poor slobs do. This was the high point of Hanoi Jane's acting career: https://doublefeature.fm/images/covers/barbarella.jpg What? Have you forgotten about "Cat Ballou" and "9 to 5"? And didn't she appear with her old man in "On Golden Pond"? All three of those were better than "Bare-barella". http://www.picgifs....

Yep,points, taken.I have no muscle memory so ,typing is an arduous task for me and believe or not this keyboard goes haywire from time to time. Maybe you should try one of those "speak-to-text" speech recognition programs (like 'Dragon') that I've seen advertised on TV. Or replace the keyboard. Ser...

When television is good, nothing — not the theater, not the magazines or newspapers — nothing is better. But when television is bad, nothing is worse. I invite each of you to sit down in front of your television set when your station goes on the air and stay there, for a day, without a book, witho...
