Re: Donald Explains the Dangers of Being President Mathematically....

Well, if anyone ever wants to give Trump an award for acting, I for one will not stand in opposition to it.    Seriously, do you have any idea how good a performer one has to be to convince people that you actually believe what you're saying, and to maintain such a straight face and serious demeanor...

Why were they diving under tables anyway? Because it's what we were all taught in school back in the 1950s — 'Duck and Cover' . Not saying this was a set-up, but — 1) First time Trump ever attended the Press Correspondents dinner 2) Assailant never got anywhere close to the dining room and anyone of significance 3) The cops/Secret Service didn't shoot him dead ... perhaps because they knew ahead of time that he posed no real...

Re: Are some of the Corrupted Six growing a spine?

The solution to the obvious partisan politicization and frank corruption of the Court is a Congressional overhaul of its procedures, imposition of a code of conduct, and an expansion of its membership. When you talk of overhauling the Supreme Court to avoid partisan politicization and corruption, I...

Re: He Has Lost His Mind....

Serious question: We've all seen the flood of religious imagery featuring Trump and Jesus -- or Trump as Jesus. Is there actually a market for this kind of slop, or is it all just trolling to pwn the libs? "No one in this world, so far as I know — and I have searched the records for years, and empl...

Trump's Ediface Complex

He wanted it big.   He wanted lots of gold, lots of marble.   He wanted visitors awestruck by his architectural expansion of the country’s symbolic seat of power. Sound like anybody we know?   Well, you'd be right, in a way ... but as the saying goes, "there's nothing new under the sun".  To contin...

I remember seeing ads for plans to build something like what you're describing in the back pages of Popular Mechanics back in the 1960s. Or you could maybe find an old one of these — a PPV ('People Powered Vehicle') from the mid-1970s https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/YellowPPV.jpe...

Well, rapping women is even worse, and trotting out the old ‘credo of all losers’ the time excuse doesn’t make it any less pathetic. ‘I’m just so tired, I want to quit’ is for losers. It’s not over until we say it’s over. :) By any chance, is your last name 'Blutarsky', lib? https://y.yarn.co/2ef89...

Note: When I found this post, I also found Trump's most current rant, about "An Illegal Alien Criminal from Haiti" and it includes an attached video showing a man killing a woman with a hammer. He’s desperate to try to reclaim some glory and support from his MAGAts so he’s resorting to more demoniz...

Sounds about par for the course for Trump — punching below his weight class.   In the last two months he's attacked Venezuela and Iraq — neither of which could be seriously considered a military equal to the United States...   and now he's bullying the Pope and the Catholic Church, who Trump figures...

What a fucking turd of a man. I take that back - it's an insult to your average turd. I agree.  A turd, if mixed with soil, fertilizes the ground and permits good things to grow. Maybe if we can somehow mix Trump with the soil 🪦, maybe good things will grow?   I''m willing to give it a chance... ht...

I will never vote for any candidate or party that proposes to abandon the most helpless Americans. I will not do that, whatever the consequences may be. And as far as being informed, I will be informed by the time elections arrive, or I will not vote at all, which is what happened last time. "Evil ...

Maybe they can't be "arrested", but surely they could be detained as being 'juvenile delinquents' before being remanded into the custody of the juvenile system. I'd normally say 'remanded into the custody of the parental unit'. but I'll bet a dollar to a dime that these kids are the product of a sin...

With one‑sixth of Earth’s gravity, I wonder how long a person could actually live on the Moon. Perhaps if someone exercised as vigorously as Arnold Schwarzenegger, they might be able to slow down bone loss, muscle atrophy, and heart complications. People will be able to survive the low gravity on t...
