Re: Horse's arse
What does a dog do on its day off? Watch the horse win vacations, making the poor dog feel insufficient.

How about a little wine? (When will winter starrrrt???) (Said in a whiny voice.)
I didn't bring beer. But you can have all of mine. I've never had a full beer. Hate the taste.
Still, there are other paths to the same road.

I would guess that if the email is still active, they would get the email saying that there is a PM waiting. They wouldn't be able to read the message, but if the go to the site, they'd see the status. Of course, if they tried to register here, their email would be lost in the pile of spam registrat...

Re: Indoctrination
Remember; Man created God in his own image. The more the religion has changed from its beginning, the more it will reflect more modern times. The less it has changed, the more it reflects the prevalent culture from the 3rd century, or whatever the time man created that god. Still, I think the person...

Interesting. In the original post, I only saw the back of her. When I hit reply, The whole thing showed. I do a lot of shooting from the hip, for pix. The shot you get when people see the camera pointing at them is never a natural shot. People seeing their candid shot will complain their hair is not...

I have been properly vetted.
I've been to one vet after another.
Even tho I played Just a Dog in last week's show, most say I'm more of a cat.

There are crunchy liberals in Maine further east than Farmington? Didn't think that was legal.
Good luck!

We had ski patrol shoveling snow on parts of trails, so that people could get by those parts. We need snow and cold, badly. It is not just the resorts, but many of the businesses in the area. The resorts bring in (badly needed) money to the area. We are limited in how much season we have, and we are...

Re: A few pix
These were taken with a Canon EOS20D. Nice DSLR. A little old, but look who's talking. ;) I do have a phone, that takes pix, but really try to carry a camera, everywhere. Why? Because when this guy showed up last year, everyone pulled out their phones, but I had my little point and shoot and had wha...

Whenever I hear people complaining about rap and hip hop, I think back on the adults saying much the same thing about our, "good" music. (Some of which was Pink Floyd.)
As for the "over 50"... It don't get much better, at 55... 60... 65...

(I guess that probably means I'm increasing the oddness?? ;) ) Spending a little time perusing, ...

If you have them in Vermont, I don't worry. I speak fluent Vermontese. Ben & Jerry, maple syrup and Bernie.
If they are in NH, they'll never find me.

I'll volunteer to keep an eye on loStone. I know most of his movements, and hiding places. Where do I put in for my surveillance pay?

Thanx to Guin and Reality for helping me get thru the portal.
Kinda odd for me to thank reality, as I've spent so long getting away from it.

Not sure how much I can be considered a refugee, as I used to be on the csb. Maybe just a wanderer? And as to the thread, other than a 2 year stint as a videographer for 2hours every 2 weeks, for the local access cable, and volunteer jobs, I haven't worked since 2004. I was calling my summer vacatio...
