Re: I must not understand people
Here in America we enjoy the circumstances where every problem has a solution that is cheap, quick, and wrong. We (meaning most of the population) don't want to take the time to process a big bundle of information about anything beyond a few topics that we personally find interesting. Some times som...
Re: Happy 4th
First of all, I find it ironic that this topic was started by someone who’s not a citizen but a foreigner—someone who seems to have no genuine concern for this country. In fact, I suspect they'd be glad to see it fall apart, especially the systems designed to safeguard liberty. Wow. I can find no be...

Re: New York state of mind
Again, some of you have not been paying attention. Having a majority is not the point. Now one floods the information sources with garbage until most have no confidence in any authority or expert. Then one floods the system with money until the majority sees no point in voting at all.

I much prefer the Lady of the Harbor over black-clad agents hiding behind masks, in full body armor and carrying battle rifles.

"It can’t even elect a human with a uterus" THAT is the real objection to TRANS-- makes it too hard to distinguish those individuals with a uterus.
sorry about the typo. it made no sense until I inserted 'trans'

Re: Legal question re Idaho murders
The USofA legal system has evolved into a system in which all participants pretend the jury is a mythical collective of human beings. The judge, the opposing legal teams all ritualistically act as if they believe the jury is able to only consider the information (the facts, the testimony) that is pr...

Re: New York state of mind
Why do I say that, when all are sinners who have fallen short of the mark? Because they all put pragmatic personal ambition and their own balance of cost/benefit to be more important than the basic ethics/morality of their espoused religion. There was once a group that summed it up as 'kill them all...

Re: Elon Musk is a patriot
Thank you I think you have answered my question as sincerely and as honestly as you can. For Liberty a patriot is one who cares about their country. What is in their heart. They Care. Nothing about actions that produce great harms to others. Only do they care about their country. Make our country gr...

Indulge me, Mr. Liberty. Can you tell what you think a patriot is? Was Benedict Arnold a patriot? Was Genl Robert E Lee, CSA a patriot? Is the current prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, a patriot?

Re: Help with bird poop, please!
I park outside 100% of the time. I keep a roll of paper towels in my trunk, along with a spray bottle of car windshield cleaner and a container of Nucar wax. I try to hit the bird poop as soon as I notice it. I spot clean the bird poop with the glass cleaner and then hit it with a bit of the Nucar o...

back to the initial topic of this thread--the parade. I did not pay much attention to it, as I did other stuff with the tv on showing the parade. A friend told me the marching band, as it passed the reviewing stand, played 'Fortunate Son" Look that one up. It is a powerful anti-war and anti- privile...

Joe Guy, I have always advocated the reality of an infinity of infinities. Can we move on to more profound topics, such as the basic beauty of the exercise with bar bells called' the squat'? OK nostalgia time What was the name of Jay's wife?

Treated myself to something nice? I thought so. I loved it. My cardiac doctor would flay me. I ate stuffed flounder with lots of salt. Well, the parade is over and the anti-King demo here in Newark DE achieved not much. I was disappointed that none of the Tanks in the Washington birthday parade had a subway tunnel fall in under them. It was a wonderful historic demo of American know-how when it comes to killing people and blowing t...

The left has supported concentration of power and favored limitations on constitutional protections? It wasn't the left that created the HUAC and the Hollywood Blacklist.
