I think this one is dead in the water. It will be a miracle if the design can be completed before the next CinC is sworn in, let alone lay the keel. It makes more sense to design a new electric submarine powered by solar panels.

Re: A man who made a real positive difference in the world
Between 2012 and 2018 I used rental cars frequently. I could never remember which side the gas filler was on. Most of the time it was the driver's side, but there were exceptions just often enough to be annoying. In that situation, the arrow is helpful. For one's daily driver, not so much. snailgate.

Hard to hide it when the pictures have been out in newspapers back when it was current events. Me, I always understood little Donny took Epstein as his role model in how to improve one's life style with other peoples money.

This has me befuddled. Was the state of Ohio so 'white bread' back then? I never heard of this woman, but I looked here up on Wiki. Seems she was a pioneer and a major force in tv news personalities for the state of Ohio for many decades. Yet she was honestly ignorant of the marginalized? snailgate.

My public library has it in the catalog. I have requested it. We shall see. Amazon quotes the NY Times: The Hippopotamus builds into “a deliciously wicked and amusing little fable”

Liberty, you actually surprise me. Your favorite book was published less than twenty five years ago and it was written by, and promotes, radical feminism.

Re: The Trump-Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
There are some within the current regime who do seem to be pushing back in 'under-the-radar' ways. One of the things Trump has tried to reverse is the renaming military bases that memorialize confederate officers. One of those renamed was Ft. Robert E. Lee. It is a major training center for army pro...

" It’s as if this country doesn’t actually belong to them, as if it’s not a nation but a territory to be occupied and colonized." Thank you Liberty, you have it exactly right. It has always been that way. Clear back to when the Homo sapiens began displacing the Neanderthals. We have more data about ...

Re: When you thought people couldn't get more stupid
ICE has been under tremendous pressure lately from the Trumpers above them in the organizational chart. The year 2025 is gonna end with LESS individuals deported than in the last calendar year under Biden. The Trumpers are buried under their own exaggerations. There was never and invasion from the s...

" If Democrats had been doing their job, he would never have risen to power." If VOTERS, of any party, had been doing their job, he never would have risen to power. Trump has done nothing as president that has been contrary to anything and everything that was publicly known about him in 2015. He has...

Yes indeed. The universe as we know it, with the present President of the USofA, continues to inform me of the sad limits of my imagination. Who would have thought the CinC would complement the Sec'y of Defense (War) for acts of piracy. Sort of a review of the Soviet Mental Health community of 75 ye...

What do they do if I just plead the 5th? Is it legal to plead the 5th if there is nothing I could truthfully say that would incriminate me? Could that be impeding a federal investigation? Oh what a tangled web we weave.
