Re: Gone mad
I've had cats. They'd puke up nasty hairballs, leave dead things as 'gifts' for me, track litter all over my house, jump onto surfaces intended for human use only (like kitchen counters - blech!), and climb up my clothes/curtains/furniture - thus ruining much personal property. They were pretty and ...

Re: Gone mad
 Just wanted you to know; I only just learned it recently myself and have taken precautions with my girl, who likes to break open boxes of things and eat the entire contents in one sitting. Generally I keep the Tic Tacs in my work briefcase to which she has no access, but I'm always glad to be ...

Re: Gone mad
@w, you might want to see if you can find another motivator for your dog besides Tic Tacs - or at least take care to give her very limited amounts. Tic Tacs contain xylitol, which can be lethal when ingested by dogs in any significant amount. Visiting Veterinarian : Xylitol: Not for dogs By Michelle...

Re: Link to Plan B posted at CSB
I love it here! Was just realizing how much less stressed I feel after largely quitting CSB and posting here instead. Plan B is like CSB was when I first got there; just folks posting about random stuff, fun, political, etc. - but without the strong undercurrent of hostility that has developed ther...

Re: Sodom and Gomorrah come to Riverdale
This kind of amazes me, what with the competing media of the past few decades.Gob wrote:Archie comics are still going?
I read Archie as a kid; it's nice to know some other geeky kids still do.
Re: My ride?
My Rav is called Reva.
Before her, I had a Mazda 626 called Bonnie Blue (yes, she was blue).

Re: Photohosting
I highly recommend Google's Picasa for photohosting. Lots of space, great organizational features, works to store photos on your harddrive as well as to upload them to Google's server as backup. If you need more space than what Google offers for free, the rates for storage space are very reasonable....

Re: Link to Plan B posted at CSB
The past few days have seen posts at CSB largely engaged just by Steve and Guy, with some contribution from a few others. CSB has jumped the shark. I agree that we will likely soon see Steve here trying to stir things up. I suspect Guy will not come here unless invited.

Re: Scrabble ruined...
This is akin to the next-generation versions of Trivial Pursuit, which relied on stupid questions based in pop culture and answers that were as equally ridiculous. I have carried my original TP game through multiple moves over 20 years, as I refuse to play the watered-down versions.

Re: No way Jose!
The selfishness of many parents disgusts me. Although I'm not doing family law primarily anymore, I still have a lot of involvement in family law issues through dependency/neglect cases that we handle, as well as juvenile court cases (which generally involve kids who are getting zero positive parent...
