Re: As Expected, Donald Had Much to Say at Charlie Kirk's Memorial
I went in for my PT appointment this morning and I saw a guy with an "I stand with Trump" tshirt on. I guess that's good since DJ cannot stand on his own.

Broken clock. She's still a horrible person and an even worse legislator.

My company had off for Juneteenth. I spent the day patronizing local business and taking my daughter to the hospital for a scheduled treatment. Classy message, as always. Best wishes to your daughter, I hope she's okay. She's fine. Chasing a low iron situation. They did an infusion yesterday ...

It's difficult for me to be outraged by her anymore. Probably the desired effect or her constant spew of sewage.

Re: Pope Francis
As noted before, I'm not Roman Catholic, but I admired Pope Francis and his dedication to basically trying to get it right and serving the underserved. He will be missed for sure. I hope they choose a replacement that will work with and for his people and the people they serve and not just an appeas...

Double pneumonia in a man his age is serious business. I'm not Catholic, but I certainly pray for his comfort and recovery.
We lost my dad this past November. Started with a respiratory infection in August and complications after. He was on the mend, but it all caught up with him.

I wish you and Corollaine many happy miles together. As for the phone app - my youngest has that ability in her Subaru. Our local community day involves the main street being closed to vehicle traffic and I was working the north end closure while she came in, parked her car near that end and walked ...

Late to the party … I have a Mazda CX5. I bought it used in 2020 and have put over 80k miles on it. Very few repair issues and so far nothing major at 152k. It is my second Mazda after my beloved MPV was wrecked. The AWD system so far has brought me through Pennsylvania winters including some pretty...

Re: Is anyone watching MLB playoffs?
So regarding the WS this year. Yankees vs Dodgers. Since they can't both lose, the only rooting interest I have is a local connection with the Yankees. Pitcher Tim Mayza graduated from the local high school where I live. So while I won't buy any Yankees gear, I will be happy for Tim if he gets a ring.

My wife has never registered nor voted. Never wanted to. Resisted any suggestion that she participate. About a month ago she told me, "This one is important, how do I register to vote?" Her ballot came this week and we will drop ours off together.

Phils are still my team. Losing like that to the Mets just stinks and stings. As an umpire, I don't like to call out officials when they make the wrong call. Stuff happens quickly and these guys are all at the highest level of their profession. That said, FTR, Bohm's grounder in the 8th was a fair b...

At least the "we aren't going to fact check" thing gave us a chuckle when Vance complained about being fact checked. May as well have said, "I wouldn't have been lying if I knew you would call me on it"
