Not sure it would be any less scary if he actually were competent in implementing the idiotic things he says.

Re: Iran is screwed.

My point is anything that hampers Iran's financing of terrorism and adds impetus to the Green Revolution in that country is a good thing. Iran's "financing of terrorism" is not even spit in the ocean compared to the terrorism financed by the Saudis and other Arab states, and it is directed almost e...

Re: The Evolution of Education

My daughter, having recently practiced for and taken the SAT, was asked to solve math problems at a much higher level than anything I had ever learned in high school. And I scored very well on the SAT 45 years ago -- having never taken calculus or trigonometry. (Her science classes -- especially bio...

In my opinion, Kamala would be Biden's Sara Palin. I don't like anything about her. She is a phony pandering "progressive" politician and was a useless Attorney General. Why do you say that? Can you give some examples of what you mean? I didn't know anything about Harris until she was elected Senat...

It is pretty evident that it crossed species in Wuhan and gives every appearance of being the result of Chinese dining habits. Not true: People in Wuhan don't eat bats. Even if environmental contact with bats might be a potential source, it's just as likely the virus jumped to humans by way of pigs.

Are your elections run by the municipality or by the county? Can you get the supervising authority to do mail-in ballots?

So sorry about your foot, @w, but congrats on the teeth! Make sure to put in a workers comp claim so you get treatment paid and at least some replacement income. The knee-scooter thing is a pain to use, so I recommend sitting on the sofa while the spousal unit caters to you.
