Re: Hen's cooking marathon....

I aint bin round much of late, even at home.

I have been pulling 55+ hour weeks and working through a number of weekends recently.

Bah!

The positive is I have built up a shedload of flex-time, so about four weeks of our seven week UK jaunt wont be coming out of my leave allowance.

Re: Surgery Advances

Do not over-reach yourself, despite how good you may feel.

Is it worth potential injury to wait a tad longer?

Just postulating.

It matters.

It matters more deeply than the Australian cricket side realise.

The light at the end of the tunnel isnt a train, it is normality returning to my life.

(I always stated to my work colleagues that it would be head down bum up til August, I was wrong by around three weeks.)

Re: Hen's cooking marathon....

As the Butcher's granddaughter, I take great pride in respecting an animal and bringing the best it can be to the table. The tail of a cow is a wonderous cut, but can be as tough as boots if not treated with respect. The recipe above worshipped the cut and the amount of the differing layers of flavo...

That is my mother's overly-spoilt and needy Staffy called Meech.

I weep trying to get mum to stop overfeeding her.

Re: Do you feel your age?

I feel some where between my mid twenties and mid thirties. I am growing old disgracefully and I am doing everything in my power to be considered amongst the more excentric of our brethern. But then I am only turning "9" next birthday. I turn "9" as I have started my retirement count down. Nine year...

Re: Bad News For That Rubato Person

I am happy for the excessive taxes I pay on fuel to go to funding the programs that they are designated to support. Road upgrades and improvements is always a hard project to fund for any municipal government. it is appropriate that the heavier toll a person places on a road, the more they should co...

Tomorrow is officially known in my business unit as "Lad's Nads Day".

I have forewarned all and sundry that I will be leaving early to pick up the little gentlemen, sans bollocks.

Poor chaps, but it must be done.

Re: BSG's "Complaints"....

I once cruised around New Guinea in a liner.

You can imagine how frustrated i was with the other passengers who INSISTED upon running up and down the left hand side of the ship ALL night.

The captain of that ship was none too pleased to receive my port noise complaint when he awoke.

The deadly 'Brown Snake' is in fact a brown snake that is deadly.

The 'Red-bellied Black Snake' is a black snake that has a red belly.

The Snowy Mountains are.

The Great Desert is.
