As you well know!
Polly Filler is a female columnist who constantly describes her dealings with put-upon au pairs and her husband "the useless Simon". Her name is a parody of Polyfilla, a British brand of putty used to repair defects in walls and ceilings.

In addition to being the most qualified candidate of either sex for the presidency in the history of the country, Hillary Clinton is also one of the most attacked and maligned women in public life in the history of the country - yet she has never given up or whined. So, still no woman President, 43...

Re: Tories 1 Labour 0
Look at Obama. You couldn't have found a more "white bread" Black man to run for president, and yet at every turn those on the right tried to find ways to use his race against him. 1. You racist! 2. The opposition using any method they can to discredit their opponent? Oh my, what a surprise. You do...

Trump went to Sunday school and was confirmed in 1959 at the First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, Queens. In the 1970s, his parents joined the Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan, which belongs to the Reformed Church in America. The pastor at Marble, Norman Vincent Peale, ministered to the famil...

Well said mate.
Thatcher, to me, was a necessary evil. I worked as an apprentice machinist in an iron foundry, then for British Rail, leading up to, and into, her first term. Prior to Thatch the way the Unions were fucking the whole country over was a sight to see.

But it's going ahead in just a month. Should never have been awarded there. We all know why it was - middle East money is the football gravy train and FIFA is as corrupt as the day is long Nailed it. Of the countless reasons to boycott this World Cup, the first should be the number of deaths linked...

There are numerous women running in this election cycle for offices ranging from dog catcher to governor. In conservative Arizona two women are running against each other for Governor. So, yet again, you don't have any women running for president, so are unlikely to have one for at least another 5 ...

A leftist woman or person of colour seeking to be the "first" anything, knows they are putting a target on their back, inviting every right-wing blowhard to take aim at that aspect of their identity to use it against them. Why would they put themselves in such a position? What utter rubbish, (or th...

Proper sport controversy.
To say the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has not been met with universal approval is quite an understatement. From the heat to Qatar's rather questionable human rights record to the proposed switch from the promised summer tournament to one in winter, it would not represent a huge shock if FIFA were to r...

With the selection of Rishi Sunak for PM, the conservatives have given the UK our first BAME prime minister. Labour continue with "pale, male stale" stereotypes, never having had a BAME, nor female, person as their figurehead. Funny that, for a party who want to be so "right on" when it comes to rig...
