Re: And he would know, how exactly...

As a woman in my 40s my ideal is definitely *not* a man in his teens to 20s. How boring. Oh no not "ideal" just compatible for shagging purposes. Gentlemen, if your testosterone levels are decreasing, I recommend taking up some form of weight training. Believe me, it makes a difference. Train 3-4-5...

Good thing it's available...Jim McKenna ran a write-in primary campaign for Attorney General in Massachusetts. To get on the general election ballot and challenge Martha Coakley, he needed 10,000 votes. He got an eye-popping 27,711 votes, despite a challenger (Guy Carbone) who ALSO got over 10,000 ...

Re: Meanwhile, Back At Reality....Lord Jim Predicts...

Go here for good results, easily scanned and digested: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ Feingold losing is a crying shame and a huge loss. WI was a red sweep -- the polls did have the republicans up, and Nate Silver had the seat 97% chance of a loss for the democrats. So yes, it was in play but tha...

Listening to Barney Frank's victory speech -- very very funny. Massachusetts remains firmly blue, thank goodness. I'm proud of my fellow citizens for chosing hope over fear.

Maine may end up with a stealth victory for Cutler. ANYBODY but LePage (and I like Cutler quite a bit)!

Re: Brits Get Another Chance To See A REAL Man's Game

Found this -- cannot verify -- however, all I can say is it is MUCH harder to sell out baseball games over a 162-game season than it is in football over a 16-game season. The next highest active sellout streak in baseball after Boston is Philly at 105 (at the time the data was collected). Top-50 act...

Re: Funding Plan B

I am fairly certain that using paypal is not just some black hole that you pay into, doubtless there is some form of accounting going on that is reportable to someone. Possibly the keeper of the keys will be able to download totals and give us a heads up to stop donating. Of course I didn't say Pay...

Re: Funding Plan B

I don't have any trouble sending money directly to a paypal account, nor do I need the transparency or accounting -- but it was suggested, so I suggested a method which might work, without making it too complex.
