Re: Home for Random Thoughts
I once thought Dubstep was something like Lord of the Dance or Western line dancing. Oh the shame!

Re: Home for Random Thoughts
I decided I needed a change and go short (it's been 20yrs). I cut 7inches off last night. Not sure if it's going to cooperate (silver ones seem to have a mind of their own) but it sure feels nice when riding the motorcycle.

Re: How Dirty Minded Are You?
I didn't realize I was that bad. I knew I shouldn't and I did and it ended up Pretty Messy at 74%. A good example is when I was at a Togo's sandwhich waiting for the order a women came in and said quite loudly "A nine inch? I've never had a nine inch before before!". I looked away and made a dash ou...

IMHO codes/permits are put in place for safety of consumers and residents and should be enforced if you can show that it is affecting you, your family, property, etc. It is a shame when people use the court system to justify what they feel as right. I had a landlord that would call in anyone (2 bloc...

Re: Home for Random Thoughts
My above post was about trying to locate broadcast archives of Louis Brean. I came across paperwork sent to my gransmother (1943) that is a direct link. It's funny how things start falling into place. I still haven't found sound files just newspapers and radio history sites. How could I be a cyberca...

Re: Home for Random Thoughts
I was curious if anyone is familiar with WOR radio about 1920-1938? I have only found bits and pieces about L. Brean, a pianist/composer I am researching. He performed on Alfred Wallenstein broadcast WJZ/WOR from 1921 up to 1943.
Thanks Much!

My first impression was "Team America". It's so bad you just have to love it! Just not in a commercial.

I'm sure this wasn't a pleasant experience for the gentleman or the gerbil, I can't help but giggle. I'm glad it didn't involve catapulting squirrels! Also brings to mind Eddie Murphy's song, "Boogie in Your Butt". I shamefully still lmao at toilet humour.

What's the concern? Do they think the visually impaired are going to run around shooting at people and things all day?  That made me think about parties that have a pinata and they spin you around while blindfolded, point you in the right direction, hand you a baseball bat and tell you t...

I had to put my cat to sleep last week. It's a the little things, like holding the screen door open a certain way so he wouldn't sneak through, certain points in the house he hung out, effin' fur, everywhere. Well, you've all been there before. Hard to lose a friend.

I have to post this clip from Youtube. This is my auntie Clare diving tandem and her family on the ground. She is fearless, even with a sprained wrist and severely bruised rib on landing. An incredible woman with an crazy sense of humour. Great-grandmother skydives on 80th birthday http://www.youtu...
