Re: my new favorite american
I believe you, LJ. I'm sure he's nothing other than the kind of person who likes to troll. The evidence of that in recent days is pretty convincing; only time will tell if he's anything other than that. At the moment, he's the entirety of my 'foes' list, because lately other than sniping at people, ...

I was thrilled to hear the recipients announced this morning, too. :ok :ok :ok I'd not heard of Satyarthi either, but it appears he has made it his life's work to advocate for children's rights, and I like the effect of 'bookending' with an advocate in his later years v. one at the beginning of her ...

No shit! Especially the 'why bother working' bit! (Not sure that applies so much to Scoot, but to our resident vacation King, most definitely!)

well, when I posted a topic about being happy about holder resigning, you posted about people not liking him because he was black. what else was I to think? just out of curiosity who else do you think I would be? Go back and read the thread again, slowly and carefully. If that's still your assertio...

his avatar seems to show where his loyalties lie... Do you even have the first clue about the source of Scooter's avatar?? :loon I'll concede that Scooter can be biting at times, but generally only when truly provoked - I seem to recall (I could be mis-remembering, not from Lyme disease but from a ...

I'm finding these results to be eerily accurate . . .
eta: Bearing in mind I don't know what the description for Linus says . . . but there are Linus characteristics that I can certainly see applying to Big RR. Maybe Peanuts really is a metaphor for all of life?

I'm a little bewildered as to why you've gone after Scooter, wesw, but in any case it sucks.
Scooter isn't a hate fish by any stretch.
You are being mean and mean people suck. Please stop. Thanks!

Ben Affleck/Bill Maher/Sam Harris 'Real Time' Controversy
Real Time with Bill Maher is one of the shows (along with John Oliver's Last Week Tonight) that I would happily pay HBO $3/episode to watch, if I could watch it within a week of airtime. In any case, I've been reading about the controversy over this week's episode, so I found a source to watch it at...

If you paid for it, use it. When it expires, get Avast for free instead. I'm removed Norton and replaced with Avast and had no problems. If you need assistance with the removal process, I can explain it by PM when the time comes . . . if you remember.
