No, nothing. It came up when I tried to visit a particular website, so I assume the site's infected. My computer is all good now. I found a bunch of Internet forums talking about this type of scam - I'd just never heard of them before.

Exactly - I posted this then deleted it in favor of the *swoosh*. Our involvement in all of these U.S. territories, which are heavily subsidized by American taxpayers, is for military strategic purposes. We're not going to give up Puerto Rico for many, many years - same as Guam, American Samoa, NMI....

I was just on the interwebs when my computer went a little nuts (loud alarm sounds) and froze up with a warning message that my browser and/or PC was critically infected and gave a message to immediately call customer support or face 'hard drive failure'. The message used my internet provider's name...
