Don't get me wrong, I love it here.

I just don't do room temperature drinking here in Summer. Room temperature can be just under 40 degrees Celcius.

(Hell, I even chill my Red Wine in summer.)
Bah!

Yes, that can get a bit silly. I get uncomfortable when it hits 25. In fact, on Sunday we had 17 and that was pretty hot for me - damn - I'm turning into an Eskimo ...

Silly? There is an understatement.

I hate any temperature over 27 Celcius. So for about 5 months of the year, I am not in a particularly happy place (unless I am inside with the air-con on).

OMG Thistle! It has been YEARS!

I have a nice chilled bottle of Sauvignon blanc if you can't stand beer.

:)

Wow, I feel flattered, and thank you, I indeed prefer Sauvignon to beer. You know my taste, Hen. :D

Right now, I don't have much time, I'm busy preparing a business trip to Prague and will be away for a week from Friday on - vulcano ashes permitting. But upon my return I'm planning on dropping by here every now and then as long as it stays smallish and friendly.

Whatever happened?* I haven't visited the CSB in ages and all of a sudden I got a PM inviting me here. First I thought it was just some spam bot that weasled its way into the CSB sending PMs to every member but then curiosity got the better of me and I peeked in here and saw all those familiar names. It was like coming home after having been lost for ages.

* If this is a taboo topic, I'd appreciate an enlightening PM, if only in order not to step on anyone's toes - okokok, I admit, it's just to satisfy my curiosity.

Short answer is some posters refused to work and play well with others to the point that the atmosphere became toxic necessitating a new forum. Beyond that I'll let someone with the inclination to PM you all the gossip. ;)

All that aside I'm looking forward to hearing what you've been up to these past few years.

Thistle!

Great to see you lass, it's been too long!

Bugger sauvignon, it's time to break out the scotch now that you're here. 8-)
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Thistle.

This place is for us to create a forum after our own fashion, tastes and in, hopefully, a friendly manner.

The topic of the CSB is not verboten, however we're hoping that any residual ill-will does not transfer over to here, otherwise there is not much point in opening this up.

Kick back, relax, catch up and it's great to see you again.

(Any more tattoos?).

OMG! The King! The King!

The Hen doesn't allow the moment to pass quietly.

Hang about, I still have my Oom-pah band out the back, if you like?

I remember you. ;)

Ha1 Thanks for inviting me over, and the warm reception Hen.

I don't know if I'll have much posting time available. My job can sometimes be demanding, currently I'm in a slight lull. But the job does take about 12-13 hours out of every day. Then once I get home, between family, friends, good books, good TV, good movies, and great porn little time is left for posting. :)

Sneaks another beer

I'll take a plate of boiled potatoes, corned beef and cabbage, and a nice wheat beer to wash it down.

I've heard from Aardy. I am hoping he will make it here soon.

I'll get a couple of cold ones in whilst we are waiting for him.
