I was born on Friday, April 1, 1949 at 8:21am(EST). According to astrophysicists at that time, it has been determined there was a "No Fool" cosmic window existing from 8:09am to 8:37am on that day. So, technically, for me and a handful of others, April Fool's is not applicable. Our birthday is April 1st... period.
As much as I'd like to join in the mirth and merriment of the day, as you can plainly see, it is literally impossible. Furthermore, all that ridiculous pranking is totally lost on me. I just sit back in wonderment as to how the whole "poisson d'avril" phenomenon evolved. April Fish? How silly can one get? Geez! However, it is a French thing after all so not much thought is necessary.
LR, thank you, and everyone, for your heartfelt (or not) wishes. BTW -- what's that on your shoes?
