Four year old now, great mutts though.
We've almost cured Ginger, (bottom image,) of his belief that he's the biggest dog in the world.

to be fair, they do resemble irish wolfhounds and Scottish deerhounds...., just a bit mind you, but the resemblance IS there....

An acquaintance of mine had a mixed breed dog of completely undetermined lineage. When asked what kind of dog it was, he told folks it was a Norwegian Elkhound. The ruse worked well, since very few people knew what a Norwegian Elkhound looked like. It worked well on me. Then he tried it on some AKC Norwegian Elkhound aficionado who told him someone had sold him a mutt.
