This flight tonight

Post by Gob »

Well tomorrow night actually.

I fly back to the UK to live.

Dogs follow on Feb 6th

Hen follows on March 27th (we celebrated our 16 Wedding anniversary last week!)

Will let you know how things go.

I see there's already a crowd gathering to greet you at the airport.

Congratulations and best wishes on the first step of your journey home.

Will the dogs have to spend six months in quarantine, or is it more relaxed from island nation to island nation?

No quarantine if suitably vaccinated.

May landings equal take-offs (every month).

"Business"? That's like, "work", right?

If you can't avoid the force of habit, you'll take 6 months off in Dubai before resuming "work"

Good luck Gob; enjoy your flight ( I bet they might have some good scotch in business depending on the airline).

Congratulations and safe travels. Been awhile since I've flown international, but business class international was way better than our domestic first class. Nice way to start the journey!

Just a tip, Gob. I wouldn't mention the upgrade to Hen. Best to keep to the script - how boring the flight was without her by your side and so on. She might not get the same upgrade.

With all that time to relax in luxury, maybe you can finally update the BBC quiz... 8-)

Best of luck returning to home.

Haven't been to the UK since 1966 (I doubt much has changed).

We changed the money so your old ten-bob note (which used to get you to Brighton and back with a movie and fish-and-chips for two and still have change left over) won't work any more. And we ditched the Izal toilet paper. Apart from that, it's much the same . . .
