Does that include the VAT?

FWIW, I'm holding $40 in contributions from y'all received in excess last year. If there's a decision to fold, then I'd suggest sending the money to a charity and I'd provide y'all with a receipty thingie thing on Plan B before it vanishes. Or not as the case may be . . .

I'm not sure about continuing. I could risk another 20 bucks or so if that's the decision but the cost is up there now at 169 plus VAT I suppose (since it says local taxes are not included). Maybe we've outlived our whatever

My excise tax bill was lower than I had budgeted for, so I’m good for $50 if others will kick in to make the balance - let Meade know by PM and if we have the requisite amount pledged we can keep our little lounge open for another year. Or not as you wish.

I'll kick in fifteen bucks, Meade. Just let me know in a PM how to get it to you.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Me too, Meade, but I would prefer to send an old fashioned personal check, if you would post a personal message to me with your snail-mail address
(quick, before the current general post master decides to end retail service.)

I'll donate. I've got some money I saved for an occasion like this. It's buried in my backyard inside a Folgers coffee can and I'm prepared to dig it up, if necessary.

You should upgrade to a can of Chock full o’Nuts and their superior stainless steel can - also the coffee is much better!

Last year, everyone who posts regularly (and some irregularly) kicked in to keep Plan B going. Every one.

So we have $40 plus I'll search the couch and come up with $25. There's another few bucks in the pipeline and I expect a contribution from an anonymous donor (they know who they am).

So that means roughly $100 needed, considering VAT. Perhaps 3 x 35 donations might do it rather than 3 x 50 which have already been offered (please and thank you very much). But if some want to overachieve and build up another reserve for next year . . . their names will be added to the John F Kennedy Performing-Clown-Trump Center
