Tiny Tim, complete with a brilliant stuffing
I'll have a leg....

Oh, and make it the short leg please...I'm on a diet... 8-)

some of the boys are playing on the pool table in the corner and some of the others are playing console games in one of the meeting rooms.....

I'm reading a book on the quantum universe to occupy my time
We all finish work at 1pm and then it's full pelt into the festivities (drinking)
Well that's certainly understandable...

Who wouldn't want a few pops after a slave driving regimen of reading, video games and pool playing....

Egads, what kind of Scrooge do you work for that he expects you to grind away like this all they way up till one o'clock?

You should knock off at noon.... :P

Xmas eve here, all is going great guns, caught up with some good friends, and get togethers have been arranged. Weather is looking disappointing today, no gales or torrential rain. Xmas day will be split between, time to ourselves as a family at the flat, time with my family, and an evening at the house of my best and longest standing mate and his partner, sounds wonderful. Boxing day will be spent walking off the excess on the beach with another old mate and his collection of ragbag dogs, and then putting all the excess back on back at the apartment.

Sounds like a plan. :ok

It's pissing down here at the moment if that's any consolation...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Surely, at least, it's overcast and/or gloomily foggy? Take cheer in that!

Yay!

That's why I hate going out for Christmas dinner. It's invariably disappointing and we never get things like that.

Did Gob enjoy his mushroom?

Fucking lovely!! Heston's going to need to pull his thumb out to produce something to beat my mushroom.

I would make a comment but I'm pretty sure Gob said it on purpose.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

I have to rave about the Christmas dinner I had this year:

Was invited to join one of the senior attorneys in town and his wife and son for their small Xmas dinner at home. They roasted a beast. It was THE BEST PRIME RIB I have ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE - and I have had some prime rib, lots and LOTS of prime rib!

They baste the prime rib in MAYONNAISE and seasoned it with a delightful blend of herbs/spices. They also used the beast drippings, mixed with brandy and horseradish, to make the most amazing gravy. I got the recipe and plan to make it myself for Easter - unless I can come up with an excuse to make it sooner! It was FABULOUS! My mouth waters just thinking about it.

Also had some lovely mashed potatoes, rolls and a fruit salad. But the PRIME RIB WAS TO DIE FOR!! :D
