All things related to the general running of the forum - got a suggestion? Here's where it should go.

You know about the one week editing. Which other 'rules' are you interested in?

How Plan B decides to take action?

You should know that. We go to mediation and then a poll.

Who lied?

Your country is a democracy isn't it?
Does your government hold a referendum before making any decisions, no matter how urgent?

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Oh Geez...What an embarrassing display....

You had an opportunity, (two in fact...you were given a second one after you immediately started up where you left off) to have a fresh start after your behavior resulted in an over whelming vote for your suspension....and instead you have decided to troll with obsessions over made up problems and injustices that obviously no one else here is buying....
You mean it's random bullshit!? ..and a clique popularity contest, not based on justice?
That is such dishonest crap, one scarcely knows where to begin....

As has been explained to you before, your suspension was not "random" it was brought on entirely by your own behavior....(and let me remind you the vote for your suspension was 21-5.....so much for your "clique" strawman...)

And the process that led to your suspension was painstakingly "just"...First, you had a full week to participate in a mediation, (which you had requested, and then proceeded to turn into a mockery) Then we had a full discussion, where all the justifications for the suspension were laid out in detail, and you were given ample opportunity to respond, and persuade folks that it wasn't warranted.

So, aside from the fact your treatment wasn't "random", and it was brought about by an overwhelming majority vote, not a "clique" and the process that brought it about was entirely "just", the statement of yours I quoted in this post is completely accurate....

(Now I sincerely hope I'm not going to see myself quoted as having said "The statement of yours is completely accurate")

With all this strawman imagining of a grossly unfair board run by a capricious, arbitrary "clique", you are making a complete fool out of yourself LoCa...it's more of the obsessive troll stuff...

If there was a shred of legitimacy to your claims, don't you think other people would also notice it? When similar claims were made against The Troika at the CSB, numerous people noticed it and complained about it, enough such that eventually a whole new board was created....And when it was created, the broad unhappiness with what was going on at the CSB was proven by the fact that 90% of the membership went to join the new board....

(Of course you could always create your own board, and see how many people here show they agree with your complaints by leaving here and joining yours....)

If we had a poll on the question, "Resolved, LoCa is making a complete fool out of herself and should knock it off" how do you suppose that would turn out?

I suspect there'd be a lot more votes for it than would be represented by any "clique"....

I don't think that an editing time limit is a rule, it's more of a restriction. Similar to not everyone having moderator and/or admin powers.

Symantics? maybe
and now I am so confused as to which "rules" thread I am posting in and what I posted in that/those threads I may need longer than a week editing feature :loon :shrug :nana

..and I didn't say this; "strawman imagining of a grossly unfair board run by a capricious, arbitrary "clique"" ...which is the strawman.

Not around here for much longer, at least if the will of the overwhelming majority is respected. You'll have to be "vocal" somewhere more suited to your tastes. Like a toxic waste dump.

You use the word 'clique'. From where I sit that should read 'community'.

Hmm...
"random bullshit" = "capricious, arbitrary"
"not based on justice" = "grossly unfair"
and, of course, "clique" = "clique"

Far from a strawman, Jim's description of your allegation is a complete

Then we have no problem, because anyone behaving as you did would be treated exactly equally.

I hope you enjoy your final hours among us. I would say I'm sorry to see you go, but...who am I kidding, NO ONE is that good a liar.
