Gob would very likely tell you that quad has not been banned if you were to ask him directly. When an answer can be easily found, it's better to ask than to assume (unless you're quad, of course).

Since a simple question was all that was needed.
I didn't know Quad so I don't have a dog in that fight.
But a straight answer is all I was asking for, I don't think that was unreasonable.

I said something to quad via PM that may have prompted his self-imposed exile. I am not sorry for it, either.
