The results are pretty conclusive.
The results are absolutely indisputable.

This is the largest number of members who have voted in any poll in the history of this board, (and also considerably larger than the number who voted in any poll in the last few years of the CSB) and a margin of 86%, with that number voting is completely conclusive.

Again, it's very unfortunate that it had to come to this, but come to this it has.

I wish that people here didn’t take this place so serious; I can assure you we are not going to change anything other than making ourselves feel better by expression our concerns.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

While I have no trouble seperating cyber space and real life, others feel the need to inject their RL problems and find cause/effect here in cyberspace. I would never go after someone in RL for something they said in cyberspace unless they initiated a RL conflict. Then, all bets are off. JoeGuy and LordJim seem to have encountered that with Quad who has since not posted, possibly (and this is speculation on my part) due to job restrictions brought about by his first threatening them then actually carrying through.

LoCAtek seemed to imply RL circumstances were being played out here and felt the need to tell Gobs boss about him owning a forum in cyberspace which may, or may not have, enabled a stalker of hers. With very flimsy evidence (if any at all) she felt the need to contact said boss and wonder of wonders, no cause/relationship was found.

And in both (all three?) circumstances, the correct result has been concluded.

Lib, the person who took this place too seriously was clearly LoCa....

In fact she took it so seriously, that she got so worked up about losing a friendship here, that it drove her to try and screw up the real lives of the two people whose friendship she had lost.

Just to clear something up: loCA apparently had some off-board communication with Gob several years ago, and decided lately that those communications constituted a "Mental Health worker/Client relationship that included doctor-patient confidentiality" rather than what they actually were, i.e. just asking a friend for advice. It is this delusion (for want of a better term) which led to her current half-assed attempt to discredit him professionally.

I will miss her long-time presence here, but not her recent persona and delusions. I really do hope she does get help, and that she does survive and find happiness, eventually, somewhere.

Now that is an interesting twist. Hell who takes advice from people they know on line only? For all she knew you might well be a yak herder in Nepal. Not a bright person.

And what makes you think a yak herder in Nepal is not a bright person? Huh?

Could it be cultural bigotry?

I'd like to thank the 37 members that voted on this proposition.

I would also like to extend to three of the five members that put a negative vote my hopes that this action will not prevent you from posting here in the future. (The other two, I am presuming, were BSG and Lo. One of them being banned and one of them not wanting to be on the Board in the first place for her own reasons.)

Not long now folks.

Lo, I am sorry you didn't take the time for a final post, but I quite understand.

Good Bye.

It was nothing but the latest lie she told to manipulate people into giving her what she wanted - typical addict behaviour, IOW.

Around the time this crap first began gaining steam, this is what she had to say about her relationship with Gob and Hen:
LOL Yes, you can go and re-read the answer(s) I gave to your initial query, 'What did I want from you?' There you will see at first, foremost and at many different times, up to six, (seven if you include the above) where I said explicitly, "Don't try to fix me, it will just frustrate you..." just listen, I just want a friend.
And she repeats the same sentiment over and over again. Does that sound remotely like someone who viewed her interactions with Gob as a professional/patient relationship? But fast forward 18 months, and she has a few people who have proven they are willing to stretch all boundaries of credulity to give her the benefit of the doubt, and so when they ask for justification for her attempt to ruin Gob professionally, she concocts this story of how she viewed her communications with Gob as part of a "mental health worker/client relationship". Of course, she doesn't state so publicly to all and sundry, where it would immediately be shot down in flames. No, instead she picks a select few to whom to recount her tale of woe in PM, whom she thinks are still susceptible to her manipulations, and whaddya know, they buy it, at least enough to believe that SHE viewed it that way. And so was launched yet another outpouring of sympathy for poor "deluded" loCA.

She will say whatever she thinks is necessary to get others to act the way she wants. In a non-addicted person we would call that sociopathic. I'm not sure it's all that far off in her case, her addiction notwithstanding.

And I wonder when I can be expected to be hauled up before some tribunal based on her accusation that I was practicing medicine without a licence, because I just made that observation.

Thanks Scoot, a very useful analysis.
