Or a guy who claimed to have a full time job where he's not allowed to go on the internet, but who regularly posted all throughout work hours at least a couple of days a week....

I also tend to disbelieve it if a poster who's posts indicate that they are of fairly limited intellect starts making claims about achievements that would require substantial intellectual prowess....
You want something to be the case, therefore in your mind, it is the case. Regardless of reality.
LOL!

You must have thought I was talking about you.....

Actually Quad, you weren't the poster I had in mind.... :P

I've posted a few times at the new and improved CSB. I understand that it's a work in progress, but but I find it really awkward and unintuitive (is that a word?) to use. I prefer the look and feel of this place, but I'll keep checking in at the new CSB.

It is now...

I think people usually say "counter-intuitive".

Kristina, please allow me to offer you my most enthusiastic contrafibularities on your invention of a new word.
I am sure that you would be anaspeptic, frasmotic, compunctious even, if it were not immediately added to the OED. Indeed it would surely cause you many pericombobulations.

I shall return.. interfrastically.

10 points and a coconut if anyone can spot the reference... :D
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Thanks, @w, I was passing a brainstone and couldn't think of the word.

Sean, I'm sure you're not a horrid little man! ;)

"unintuitive" does indeed appear to be a perfectly acceptable word.

And it is true a person can forge an IP. however after viewing your CV and nearly everything you have done in your life I state with full confidence that *you* cannot. Nor would you understand the process, regardless of the amount of googling your fingers can do. So unless you decided to pull a PhD in CS outta your butt in the last few years, knock it off.

Please note, this is my first foray into this quagmire, but:

If you admit Scooter’s assertion that a person can forge an IP, then how can you dismiss the assertion on your assumption of his computer savvy?
A sufficiently copious dose of bombast drenched in verbose writing is lethal to the truth.

I've missed most of this discussion and have only skimmed this thread and not read others here in the last couple of days, but based on what I've read to date I have a thought about the poster known as KarmaKritiK.

I believe KarmaKritiK is probably Steve trying to test the administration here to see if he would be banned for being an idiot.

And if he could actually accomplish being banned here, then he could post at CSB I or II about how this place is an assault on the right to free speech.

And in his mind he could then become the martyr he has always aspired to be.

At least that's how it appears to me with the limited info I currently have.

I thought of that too but he simply went to long without a spelling error or complete gibberish.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

If only real life were so obliging...

Well I still reckon it's Gandalf... or maybe Cricket! :o

I am however inclined to lean towards the Steve theory. The initial rant was quite Steve like and even had this
So I say we all just stop going to the CSB at all and let Gar and Steve have their own little playground all to them selves. They like it that way.
to cleverly throw us all off the scent.

Later we had
Stay in your world of self-denail. Obfustication of the facts of your posts works well for you dosen't it.
which is pure Steve!

It's also quite telling that the first person KK had a real dig at was @W... You know, Steve's all-time favourite poster. :D

I've made a few posts over at Reboot....

However since the board has a draconian one hour editing time limit, I will obviously not be posting anything of any significant length there, unless I'm re-posting it from somewhere else.

I think we've all devoted more than enough time to the drama that whoever it was wished to create.

That was true immediately upon his/her initial post; if you read it through, you had already wasted more than enough time.
GAH!
