Explain what's happening when you try to log in. I have no issues and I log in from about 8 different devices and have no problems.

Occasionally the system does log me out - this sometimes happens after the hosting company have done some shizzle.

Do you check the "Log me on automatically each visit" box?

It's only ever asked me the trick question when I've logged into the Admin Control Panel.

I have had a similar incidence to Tim.

I have attempted to log in and I am told that I have tried and failed on a number of occassions and I now have to answer further questions. This is despite it being my first and only attempt to log in.

I'll have a look at the board software, it happened once to me when I was going into ACP. The questions are there to stop bots registering not to keep us lot out, is R-B about?

I think the only thing that happened one time on a log in to me was that "captcha" crap. But before and since that one time I get in without any problems.

It looks to me like there are spammers taking our log in names and having multiple attempts to crack our passwords, thus taking us beyond our "maximum log in attempts." This forces us to go by the catchpa system again.

It's keeping us safe but does occasionally mean we have to answer a catchpa question to log in.

Tim, while I appreciate your frustration, and the frustration of others who have had to put up with this, please put the blame where it is due. This is something malicious inflicted on the board by spammers, it's nothing to do with you personally, your membership of the board, or any software the board uses.
