Long Post Warning

Being someone who opposes banning just about anyone and who does not vote in polls, I can't believe this shit. <--- There, I cursed so you know I take this seriously.

Here is my take on this whole dust up (and my term "dust up" is not meant to put the situation in a casual light as I know how serious accusations taken to ones employment can be)

You have accused Gob and Hen of supporting stalking meanwhile the only person that I know of who has a common connection between you and your Ex has come out with her first (or second) post and told exactly who she is and appologized for any problems and/or misunderstandings that she posted and for her very presense on this board. Since then she has not gone around and commented on most of what you have posted and has engaged you not at all. I have seen stalkers on forums and IMO (not humble at all) she is not one. If her mere presense here makes you uneasy, then it is up to you to avoid or tolerate her. She has made no advances toward you or your life situation here on the board. In fact it is you who have made the advances toward Gob and Hen for merely allowing a member, you know is dating your ex to 1) register here, and 2) to post here. And 99.999% of her posts did not have anything to do with you nor the situation you both have in common. Stalking? HELL NO!!!!!!!!! You are the one who keps bringing up your ex.

loCaTek you are showing the classic signs of a true alcoholic. I do believe I have some "qualifications" in this area as I go to at least one AA meeting every day and am actively involved in the organization (currently working on step 4, coffee/setup commitment, talk to my sponsor and at least 2 other drunks every day). You are playing the "victim" as all of us alcoholics do at least once, and most of us many multiples of times. You are wallowing in your own pity party, about how you are being stalked.

Now I can't comment on your real life and whether your ex and/or his current squeeze are (or are not) actually interfering with your life, but here on PlanB I just don't see it at all. If anything it is you who are, if not actively stalking Gob and Hen, (kinda tuff to stalk being on opposite sides of the world) then at least you are harrassing them all the while claiming to be the victim. Poor me, poor me, pour me another drink is the road you seem to be on and I pity you and my thoughts are with you. You really need to get help. If you are resistant to AA, then seek one-on-one counseling. The AA website and hotline can and will get you in touch with help.

Bringing things here to real life is a serious offense, especially when there is no harm done as far as I can see. Personality conflicts are all to common but there is no right "not to be offended" (as far as I know).

I do believe that loCatek has now crossed the line and needs to be banned. Calling each other names and such on the board is one thing, interfering with ones livelihood in RL is quite another. I was an admin who has banned people for RL infractions and that is my line in the sand. If one finds the need to take things from the board into RL, then it's time for your privileges on that board to be revoked.

Now being an alcoholic and currently working on step 4 (honest assesment of ones faults) I have to confess that there is a part of me that does enjoy seeing the "spats" that occur here. Of course I always keep out of it which allows me to think of myself as "above" those who do participate. This is my weakness, my character flaw and I am sorry to all here. I have tried to keep out of the various "frays" to feed my "superiority" mind set but when in fact I am worse than those who do participate. I truly am sorry to any and all here for taking some measure of pleasure at people going back and forth at each other.

I have no idea what her evidence is as I have seen zero stalking here. Gob, Hen if you need testimony, let me know. And even if they bring up my alcoholism, I do know alcoholic behaviour and sadly loCatek is exhibiting it in once of it's most devious forms.

A few points, the most important first.

Just about every legal person on the board has offered to advise us, in private, including an offer I would not have expected.

We are greatly touched by this kindness, and will reply to you all soon.

Secondly, my first impulse on getting this news, via a very tortured and roundabout way, was to; "delete the board, and to fuck with it, it's not worth the candle."

On calming down from a point where I was incandescent with rage, a few things struck me.

I am the registered owner of the board, this was known by all from the start.

Membership here is voluntary.

Very well, for the board notice and not addressed to any specific party: this matter is now being reviewed by neutral counsel.

At least we now know that Lo's neutral counsel was not advising her on her alleged stalker of PSMP, but rather Lo's neutral counsel was aiding (unwittingly) in her continuing campaign of harassment and stalking of Gob and myself.

You really must tell us all Lo. I still think that any money you have spent (hint, none) was a waste. However, if you do insist that you are actually suing Gob then you will be up for a small fortune in damages.
