When I was doing roofings on the side, I used to give my customers a copy of the movie "The Money Pit". The contractor when asked how long it would take always said, "two weeks".

I'm trying to get a quote for some work out of contractor and just that has taken two weeks. For fuck's sake, if this is how they all work, my pretty little head is going to esplode . . . .

Don't have any contacts in Mass. But if I were there and it was an interior job, I would be more than happy to quote on the job as long as I only had to come evenings and weekends. In that case it would take two weeks
