My response since I've just now read the news on Gob's accident...

Shock!!

Concern...

Anger (at taxi driver)

Relief..

Sympathy.

Appreciation (of the support he's received at home & here)

Envy (tasty painkillers)

You're missing bargaining and acceptance

Not actually me modelling the jacket.
Well that is how I will see you from now on! :nana
Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.

Cheers again my friends, you're a great source of cheerfulness for me!

Just saw this...(I haven't been on the board this week...got hit with an inner ear thing that gave me a really bad case of vertigo) glad to hear you're okay, old darling...

I would never have had any doubt that you would bounce back. Like the old saying goes,:

He is hopping around so much better now. He may even be able to come with us for a hobble tomorrow to the War Memorial.

I am sat here in my pyjamas in the lounge room, whilst Sister Mary makes Eggs Benedict for us. Yum, yum, yum, yum.

Life can be pretty good, even in the bad bits.
Bah!

Ahh, I love Eggs Benedict....

Those pain killers must be really cranking for Strop to agree to eat Canadian Bacon.... 8-)

Heh! mine came with spinavch rather than bacon, but by buggery SMF cooks a fine breakfast.

Not fun being unable to entertain* our guests as I would have wanted, but they seem to be geting by.

Pain killers and Glenficddich are a fun mix!!

*Unless you count my hobbling about, being unable to get off the toilet unassisted, constant yelling of "H-e-e-e-e-n, give me a hand please," falling over, and occasionally squeaking with pain, part of the "entertainment"

No CP, the highlight is the strategic placement of marbles and toy cars around the floor...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

But of course Jim... I'm hoping to have a compilation up there within a few days.

He has, however started to question my following him around with a camcorder. My 'Video Diary of a Welsh Legend' excuse is beginning to wear thin...

Tell me about it. My living with a "Welsh legend" is wearing thin as well.

Gob wrote:My deepest heartfelt thanks everyone! Home now, and very grateful to be here. On crutches, in a sling, an on some quite tasty painkillers :)

I'll be off work for a couple of weeks, but may get a new road rocket out of it!

Using Hen's I-pad left-handed is a chore, and there'll be no "relaxing in a gentleman's way" for a while ;)

If you'd like to sit at your PC, you can 'hunt and peck' with your mouse left-handed by calling up the 'On-screen keyboard';

Start - programs - accessories - accessibility - On-screen keyboard

The two times I went down (without any other motorists help) one was wet leaves and the other was sand.

Other motorists are a whole 'nother problem.

Gob, bikes over here have their headlights come on automatically. I know in NY it's the law that the headlight be on while riding.

Now that you've paid for a richer and more vivid understanding of the meaning of 'risk' you might want to re-think that.

Oh piffle, though I no longer ride a donorcycle, a rational mind will see that he could just as easily have gotten himself equally mangled doing his many other pursuits.

What I don't get is having eggs Benedict without the Canadian bacon. Apparently he didn't hit his head hard enough. :nana

I guess technically, with the spinach rather than the Canadian bacon, it would be Eggs Florentine....
