LoCa, laying some of the unfortunate rhetoric being directed at you aside, there's a legitimate point here.
We just got through with a very nasty bout of drama only a few days ago. And now for some reason you seem to have decided to launch another one, with a totally unprovoked, completely out of the blue straw man about people attacking Gar.
I don't know why you decided to do this, but I can assure you no good will come of it. You're certainly not doing Gar any favors with this; all that's happening is that you are further damaging your reputation and credibility (which used to be very good with most people) and providing ammo for the folks accusing you of troll behavior and doing it for no reason other than to get attention. (Very negative attention)
The very best thing you could do at this point, would be to drop this completely (which you wisely did with the dramafest which was recently concluded) and MOST importantly, after you drop this, you should NOT start up anything similar.
For sure there are a few people here who are now irredeemably pissed off with you, and won't like you no matter what you do. But there's a much larger group, (this was obvious from a lot of the comments coming from folks in the recently concluded similar bout of nastiness) who do like you, and just want you to drop this stuff.
But if you keep this sort of thing up, the first group is going to get larger, and the second group is going to get smaller.
That's exactly what Steve brought on himself. Surely you don't want to go down that road. Surely you don't want to go from being a well liked and valued poster to being seen as "The Steve Of Plan B". You're better than that.
There's still a large reservoir of goodwill and affection for you here LoCa. But you really need to cut this stuff out, or you're going to destroy it.
I'm quite certain Gar has no interest in loCA going on about him in this fashion.
Many of us don't like mechanics of the new CSB forum; Gar knows that, and he knows why. He is working on fixes that might bring us there to post once implemented.
I don't see anybody here constantly throwing in his face the technical problems with CSB II - we're simply not posting there at present. Beyond the technical difficulties, the very limited posting presence is comprised of personalities that most here simply don't want to interact with regularly - that's why we came here in the first place. That is the thing most commented on in this thread.
Can the loCAdrama, PLEASE, lo. Maybe you should consider stepping away for a few weeks and coming back after you've had time to let go of the misplaced resentment that you are so obviously acting on in nearly every post?
