I don't know Hen. When I look at all the rubbish being spouted from different sides I just get tired. And very sorry. As for me, if someone wants to tell lies about me, what do I care? Let's assume someone on this board accuses me of being a child rapist. WGAF? (a) no-one believes it and (2) consider the source. Now if it was to my face, then I give them a bunch of fives where it hurts. But this is NOT life. This is a board. Responding pathologically to non-reality is a sign of mental disturbance. When Scooter made his comment about my dog - or rather, my actions re the dog - it hurt because there was an element of truth or guilt or whatever - not exactly as he put it, but certainly as he intuited. But I don't think it would deserve a six month long bitch-fest of name calling. Granted, he's not "pursuing" me across threads and being an arsehole, and I can sympathise with outrage in OZ over some of what's been said. I think Loca is being offensive, repeatedly, and it makes me sad. But you know, "don't feed the troll" used to be a healthy mantra back in the WDYK and Cafe D'Artre days. And it didn't work there - two commercial websites closed down comms because people just couldn't stop themselves from shitting in the pool

I wish you and Taff (and again I feel much sympathy for you) could (not would, but could) simply not pay back like with like. It encourages others here to slip immediately into slagging-off. LJ and I have been through this - I heard him, I hear you. And I still say that someone needs to be the bigger and better person.

You know - this ain't real. Everyone will do as they please. I just wish there was more real discussion of things here and less of all this back and forth (which now I'm contributing to of course) of playground potty talk

If we always do what we always did, we'll always get what we always got. Maybe Scooter's got a point - it's easy to say because it isn't me that's being blackguarded. But I'll risk the banning for suggesting that someone needs to act like an adult - I've suggested to Loca that she do so.

I had been leaving well enough alone until her uncalled for lies and smears about me.

But quite frankly I do NOT want to enter into discussions about this once more.

It was EXTREMELY painful and hurtful to me last time, I do not need to have issues resurfacing that will remain unaddressed because Lo will never apologise for maliciously raising them in the first place.

General, as much as I found wisdom in your earlier post, I find your most recent one extremely ill advised...

I can't see how it accomplishes anything other than to give encouragement to LoCA to continue the pattern of behavior you properly criticized her for earlier; I can't see how your comments in your most recent post will do anything but exacerbate and prolong the drama.....I'm sorry but I can't see any good purpose to it at all...

I'm going to ask that the subject be dropped, and that anyone who wants to indulge it goes to the CSB, where I believe that sort of debate is, for reasons best known to others, already underway.

Lo had her time off the board, she has now returned, we said we would give her a clean slate. Let's start from that point.
