The seaside in the rain in winter, how truly gorgeous. I'll be homesick as hell of course.

I was just thinking the other day how I wish I was on holiday somewhere where it's cold, windy and raining heavily.

I hope you're all comfortable sleeping on that cot. It certainly is a nice one.

Better put a hood over your camera lens when you go on a photo shoot.

Bon Voyage!!

Of my two weeks on Cape Cod last summer, the most perfect day was the one I spent curled up on the sofa bed whilst a day-long thunderstorm rattled the windows and played a staccato on the roof. Wind blowing briskly, buoy bells singing. There is something about a rainy day by the sea - I loved them as a child and still do.

Was just thinking of that day last night, when an all-too-brief thunderstorm rolled through my dusty Montana mountain town.

But why? If I want to sit in the rain, I don't have to go on vacation to do it. I can do that at home, without paying for a hotel room!

As a motorcyclist who has worked outdoors for fifteen years now, I am of the opinion that rain sucks.
