Happy day, you miserable bastard

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Even Google remembered. My Google search page has this image rather than the one everyone else is getting.

66 trips around the sun, how did I complete them so quickly? Fortunately, my daughter, Chelsea, has made the last 25 orbits most enjoyable. HB2Me. Life is good.

Happy Birthday Ray Thom!

An April Fool baby? How many times did you have to deal with that! But here, we are all supportive. Happy birthday month!

LR. TO CLARIFY

Post by RayThom »

I was born on Friday, April 1, 1949 at 8:21am(EST). According to astrophysicists at that time, it has been determined there was a "No Fool" cosmic window existing from 8:09am to 8:37am on that day. So, technically, for me and a handful of others, April Fool's is not applicable. Our birthday is April 1st... period.

As much as I'd like to join in the mirth and merriment of the day, as you can plainly see, it is literally impossible. Furthermore, all that ridiculous pranking is totally lost on me. I just sit back in wonderment as to how the whole "poisson d'avril" phenomenon evolved. April Fish? How silly can one get? Geez! However, it is a French thing after all so not much thought is necessary.

LR, thank you, and everyone, for your heartfelt (or not) wishes. BTW -- what's that on your shoes?

Food for thought:

* "The aim of a joke is not to degrade the human being, but to remind him that he is already degraded." — George Orwell

* "The trouble with practical jokes is that very often they get elected." — Will Rogers
