Been a lot of them around recently. Are they bots? lurkers? Spies

I think my default is set to hidden so whenever I'm reading or posting I show up as a guest - except when I sign in from work. I think? But that only accounts for one . . .

No if you're hidden you show up as hidden you only show up as guest if you're not logged in

When you Google for info on plan B, this place pops up, too, along with all the discussion forums on obtaining and using plan B contraceptives. Maybe that's it?

The major search engine bots (like Google and Bing) show up by name...

I suspect that most of the "guests" are actually malicious spam types trying to gain access to post about where to buy penis enlarging pills or where to find a "hot slut tonight"...

But Daisy and RB have done such a good job barring the door to this riff raff that they can't get in...

Not "guests" so much as would-be "home invaders"....

After thinking about it, I could be a guest here sometimes. I log in to this site then have it on in the background. The net logs off (times out) when there is no activity on my part. I'm still connected, just not logged on, thus I'll show up as a guest.

When I do log in, I don't log in as hidden.
