Ok, someone called "hiptooloader" has made a post in This topic telling us a romantic tale of who two people very much in love were driven to the throes of ecstasy by the miracle powers of Viagra, with links to an Eritrean website where you could purchase the wonder drug.

Not entirely on topic, or even remotely worthwhile.

I deleted the user, and banned them.

If anyone has any thoughts or complaints about my actions, please air them here.

Why would I "@mericanwitch'?

the post stands on its own. a user was deleted and banned. they posted something not relevant to the topic. Gob said so. cut and dried. no more information was given.

I can’t for the life of me, see any reason why anyone would have seen this as cause to make a nasty (and clearly, uncalled for) reference to a poster who hadn’t even entered the fray.

I agree 1000%....

It's funny this came up, because an exchange over at the old CSB had me thinking about this....

This is something that a handful of posters have engaged in over the years, that frankly leaves me bewildered....

Just who the hell do these folks think they are, that they believe that they some how have a right to jump into a fray, toss out their criticisms, and expect no response in return? Just what is it that's supposed to make these self righteous tut tuters so "special"?

(And if you check the record, you will find these "I'm entitled to criticize something you say, but you have no right to comment on me, my farts don't stink" types are also invariably the ones who like to lecture others about ignoring comments they don't like.... But then seem congenitally unable to follow their own advice...)

Anyone who feels they occupy this sort of "I'll judge you but don't you judge me" position of privilege is invited to kiss my ass as well.

The previous two posts show EXACTLY how the CSB was 'taken down' if in fact it was taken down.

Has nothing to do with easily non-readable MOTU posts or doom and gloom posts.

The interpersonal problems still exist here as I have pointed out in numerous threads:

@w still has problems with humans in general, but especially women. Her running battles with Guin, who generally does not engage in that are epic.

Rubato is still rubato. Scooter is still scooter. Gob is still Gob.

DGS is still attacked personally for his views.

Recently I even correctly quoted 2 posts from LJ where he states with no ambiguity that he is empowered to respond in anyway to any post if he does not like the message, even personally, his last post in this thread highlights that PERFECTLY.

what do I want you to do about it? Nothing. What can be done about it? nothing.

I want these examples of the 'internet dickwad theory' to stand for all time. as Crosby-Nash said recently "Dont dig here"

I also note that STILL, it is being complained (this time by 'Sean') that yinz edit posts after the fact, during argument, to make them unreadable as per his claims. Wonderful.
