Happy Birthday RayThom

Post by RayThom »

Thank you, Joe... or whoever you really are.

Ah, the ol' "fleegle nose glasses." This has been my sole Halloween costume for well over a decade. I have them stored in the armrest bin in my car.

68 years old... how did that happen so quickly? So, here I am, kicking back, soiling my Depends, and gumming my oatmeal dinner. Later I'll go to the mall and watch life pass me by. Sigh!

Actually, and regardless of all my chronic health problems, there's much to look forward to. Life is good.

"The first time I didn't feel it, but this time I feel it—and I can't deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!" HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Hmmm...

Maybe Ray's birthday isn't really April 1st, but he just listed it as April 1st...

Because, you know, Ray... ;)

Well, regardless of whether or not the day is accurate...

I certainly have no problem believing the "68 years old" bit... ;)

I'm guessing it probably beats the alternative. Another ride around Ol' Sol at Dismal World's Tragic Kingdom is now in progress. C'mon 69.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

4/1 is my Mom's birthday as well.

Hope it was a good one for you Ray.

Why, yes it was, thank you. I bet your mom has a well honed sense of humor, too. Curious, is she also left-handed? Whenever I met someone who shares this birth date with me I ask them this question. It's about 50/50 which runs counter to the 10-11% of us lefties out there.

Anyway, my beautiful and/or intelligent daughter and her SO forced me to go to P.F. Chang's for a meal. So much food -- not enough room. I was the recipient of all three take-away containers. Hot lunches for a week.

As an appreciative dad, it's often the simplest things that matter most. I'm looking forward to next year already. Life is good.
