I have a sister -in-law born on Dec 24. And she also has a twin sister. She has had a hard time thinking of her birthday as her special day.

So felicitations from me as well for all born on this day of the year.

I love what you did with that title Jim!

I'm happy to know I'm not the only one here whose teeth are grating when they read something like that.
Now if I can just get people to talk properly.  It's enough to make me scream like a banshee when someone wants to discuss whether Trump is going to trigger a 'nukyoolar' war with North Korea or not, or they want to 'axe' me who I'm hoping wins the Super Bowl in 'Febyooary'.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

[Thats funny, LJ. ]

Thanks to all for birthday wishes! Wasn't a great day, as it happens. (Well, I had a superb early birthday getaway mid week, thanks to my lovely wife). Yesterday the Bolokanang youth came to our house to decorate cakes. We had a lot of fun. I decided to demonstrate a fastball pitch using a lemon - maybe I thought I was Bob, but turned out to be Jack. Anyway, in the follow-through I managed to trip over two large lava rocks on the lawn and went splat. My chest took the brunt of it, left side of course, and by evening I was having difficulty moving about. Today too - we've had to cancel the kids coming over for dinner. And no, it all happened at 1 p.m. and there were no glasses of anything involved. Just a 67 year old geezer taking a pearler in a perfectly sober boob/ground incident. Bruised chest and ego.

Point of Order, Mr. Chairman. Banshees don't scream - they wail and keen. Occasionally they have been reported to shriek but that's a far cry (did you see what I did there?) from a scream. Let's get it right!

I'm sorry...

Did I make a grammatical mistake there?

I think I found it...

"their's" shouldn't have had an apostrophe...
