The Hen, (my Mrs,) has just boarded the second of her three flights, to emigrate to Blighty to join me.
Obvs I'm over the moon about this, and cannot wait to see her again, as it's been two and a half VERY long months apart.
I'm tracking her flights on "Flight Aware", brilliant that we can now use these apps to get so much information. I'll be timing my parking at Heathrow Terminal Two against her arrival time.
This flight tonight...

OK... let's see if I have this correct. First you moved to your new digs, followed by your two dogs, and now, after all this time, the wife finally arrives. Hmm... are you sending a subtle hint here?

Good move. She might be reading this thread so you know exactly what to say. Very smooth, Gob, very smooth.

Oh NO!?!?!? Heathrow? How could you trust your loved one to that fate?
Yikes, sg. I'm worried about how long this song was rattling around in your head before you were finally able to use it.

Glad to hear you will all be united again, but without using United I hope.

Just curious - did she get an upgrade to business?

I hope you got the indoor plumbing installed, or she may turn right around and take the next flight back...

I see from the Grauniad that Qantas now has a direct, non-stop Oz to UK flight. Longest flight leg I have ever taken is 9 hours (Aeroflot; Moscow to Sakhalin - luckily the company sprang for first class for that one) and I cannot imagine a 17 hour flight.
