Our new kitchen is nearly finished. I still have the ceiling to paint, the beams need to be blacked, and the tiles between the lower and upper units have to be fitted. A few weeks work yet, but well worth it I think.
Our furniture, crockery, kitchen utensils, and other items are arriving from Australia next week, so we'll get full use of it, ( and the other rooms, ) then. It's been a vetry long year for us, but will be well worth it in the end, we hope.

Very nice. That's a nice cozy kitchen you're finishing up. Are you sure about the wall tile color and pattern. especially in combination with the floor tile you used?

Thanks guys. After a year of trauma, and sacking our builder, we are now set to be 80%completed by Xmas. Next year a large conservatory/sun room will be built and the garden and allotment completed. More images to follow.

As I say Ray, the walls and beams are yet to be coloured, and there are tiles to add to the units yet.

I'm trying to imagine the finished project. Be sure to add more images once the kitchen is completed. Thanks.

That's a winner, especially the wine glasses, with wine in them.

We're yelling people; "We unearthed the terracotta tiling when we took the old floor up, we believe it's as old as the building/" (1875)
The truth is that me and Hen laid that, after much blood sweat and swearing..

Yelling people sounds painful
