I am in touch with Ray's daughter through Facebook. Because I had not see him here for a while, I asked if he was OK. This is what she told me:
Hi. He has been in the hospital for ever a week now. He’s fighting pneumonia and has been on a ventilator. It’s been a rough time but he’s fighting
I asked if I could share this with you:
Can I pass that on to the Plan B folk? And please tell him that we are all pulling for him. He's fighting - well that does not surprise me. Thanks. Andrew
To which she replied:
Yeah I think he would want people to know what’s going on. And I’ll let him know. Thanks for reaching out

Thanks Andy. I was going to post a question today to see if anyone knew what was up with Ray. I sent him a PM last week and it's still unopened.

I’m so sorry to hear that. Will send him my prayers, such as they are.

I hope Ray may live long enough to see Trump defeated in Nov.
Hang in there, Ray!

Ah spit. I sent him a PM too. I know Darren's missing him almost as much as the rest of us.
Thanks ex-kA

Oh man, that doesn't sound good. Pneumonia was scary even before Covid came along.

Per Ray's daughter, a few minutes ago:
He’s doing alright. Still on the ventilator but more alert and making slow progress with the lungs. I’m on my way to see him now.

Does his daughter have access to our little BBS? I hope she understands how much we care about her dad.

Well I've told her; but I am reluctant to give her that sort of info which should come from her dad. I think that Ray has told us in the past that she has definite instructions instructions how to get into his account in the event of his being unable to.

When Ray makes his triumphal return here, he will find not much has changed.
