I'm in a local hospital, ICU, with covid. I was careful. Always wore my mask, washed frequently and still wound up here on Tueday. I've had Remdesivier (sp?) I've had. Trump's steroids, and I'm still here. I don't really hurt, I just feel lousy. Covid causes pneumonia. My lungs show lots of it. They refuse to retouch the daily X-rays.

I'm typing on my phone. It leaves a lot to be desired. Please excuse my even worse than usual typing. Has anyone else here had it? L

Hey MG I’m so sorry to hear you’re sick, and I hope you get well quickly. You will be in my prayers, such as they are.

Let me take this opportunity also to provide a much better mea culpa than the backhanded one I posted in some thread under the radar several weeks ago; I was a beeyatch when you offered up some auto maintenance advice last spring (?) and I’m sincerely sorry, because we have been pals here and I should’ve given you the benefit of the doubt, which I did not. At all.

In my defense I point to the recently learned fact that I am an occasional misandrist, something I will have to work on.

Anyway, mea culpa and please take this humbling apology as evidence of just how much you are fondly regarded by even strangers on the interwebs - so you must work hard to get well and back to your full size keyboard!

Hope you pop in with a status update.

I'm out of the ICU and in a regular room since about 4:00 this evening. Really feel pretty good after the ordeal. So many are so unlucky. Mrs Mc tested positive, but feels fine. That means we can't give it to on another once I go home. I'm almost completely off of 02, and maintaining 93-96% saturation.. I guess they want O2 that high for a day or two before they kick me out.
