Torn ACL
Re: Torn ACL
I don’t know what the deal is but Oxy Contin does not seem to do shit for me.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: Torn ACL
Well generally I would say it has to do with previous hard drug use...
Re: Torn ACL
I wish. It makes me loopy and makes it hard to think straight, but as fr as pain goes? No noticeable difference

Re: Torn ACL
You may have the wrong approach?
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Torn ACL
People are so different. Can you try Tylenol and Aleve taken together. I get good results like a narcotic without the loopiness. Ask wife about it.
Re: Torn ACL
Good news mate, best of luck.

Re: Torn ACL
I have read that the reason the maker of Oxy Contin pushed it so hard to shady pharmacies is because it really does not do much for many kinds of pain.

Re: Torn ACL
Today I actually put on pants (not sweats or pajama bottoms) and did a little driving to boot everything is progressing well just about the only thing remaining is getting the knee to bend past 90 degrees.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: Torn ACL
Thanks for the good news update. Hope to hear it is good as used in the near future.
Re: Torn ACL
Good news, Crackpot. That's progress.
Before you know it, you'll be able bend your knee 360 degrees.

Re: Torn ACL
Good luck with that. Don't give up on the therapy. I chickened out somewhat and now I look ridiculous dropping to a "push-up" position in order to sit on anything below chair height. And getting up again is a workout. Keep it up

Re: Torn ACL
Only 360 degrees?
Perhaps even 720 degrees.
An exciting career in the circus awaits!

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Re: Torn ACL
I fail to see the advantage in that.
Anyway, glad to hear your recovery is progressing well. Keep at the PT.
GAH!
Re: Torn ACL
PT has been kicking my ass. Basic movement is good moving on to uneven and more “athletic” movements
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: Torn ACL
Enjoy the "agility ladder". The other thing my PTs did was make me stand on one leg and touch a series of cones in a circle with the other foot. You don't realize how bad your balance is until you're suddenly trying to be the karate kid
Re: Torn ACL
Doing the agility ladder. Not the other (thankfully, at least not yet)

Crackpot, yesterday.

Re: Torn ACL
That would be this morning and then again on Thursday.

Re: Torn ACL
This is basically what I was doing in PT last year when rehabbing an Achilles injury. My PT had more cones out though. Instead of just the NSEW, there were additional cones at the 45 degree positions as well. She would call out which one to hit and I had to react and adjust my weight/balance to get it. Kept me (literally) on my toes.
