I think this is deceptive. Please look carefully at the starting position. The knot is already half tied--there is an overhand knot at the top of the laces on the shoe before the demonstration begins.

PS. analyze the usual knot for shoe laces. If you carefully pull the two ends that form the loops out of the knot in reverse (pull on the loop so the ends of the lace come out last) You have a square knot--two overhand knots on top of each other. Perhaps the shoe lace knot could be called a square knot with double bights. Do your shoe lace loops want to form up-and-down the shoe, rather than at 90 degrees to the shoe (the way the demonstration ends), then you are using a granny knot rather than a square knot.

With the Jobs cult you just paid the initiation fee (which was higher than Gates) and rare assessments. My phone says I have the latest version of software and the issue is still present. Did you do any kind of workaround or fix that you’d like to share?

I don’t read BB’s posts and judging by Jarlaxle’s response it’s a good rule to stick to.

I’m sorry if anyone else was affronted by my reminder - I’ve found recently that my old trick of copying the YouTube designator from the embed here and searching the web for it isn’t working half the time, so I’m missing a lot of likely clever and humorous content. If you’re already pasting the link into the embed, it should be very easy to also post it in full as I do when I post YouTube links to share. Or don’t.

I try to restart it at least weekly to unscramble its brain lol as recently as a day ago so no that’s not a cure.

I’m not excited about switching back to Chrome but maybe just for visiting this page.

Ever hear of a "bucket list"? Well, I'm getting too old for one of those. But I do have a "fucket list", Jarl -- and you're rapidly rising to the top of it.

As for my original comment, it was a response to someone expressing displeasure with the fact that their iPhone wasn't displaying a YouTube video. I merely reminded them that it was THEIR choice to purchase an Apple device -- and yeah, i took a good-natured, tongue-in-cheek, back-handed slap at the cult-like devotion of iPhone users ... a demographic, BTW, that I had to deal with for nearly ten years in my job as a cell-phone customer service rep.

So show me ... where's the lie there?
