Gob just flew back to the UK from Australia, so his arms are too tired to use a keyboard.

No idea what ever happened to Dales or rubato; neither of them has posted here for months (maybe years?) :shrug

Back now. But thinking my time with this board is pretty much over.

Do you want someone to take it over? How much time does it (or should it) take each week for smooth operation? Is there a set of instructions somewhere? Now that I am retired I probably have the time, and I guess I have - or I can learn - the skills.

If Gob can do it I'm pretty sure I can.

Gob, please check in once in a while. I am a semi-senile old man who once aspired to be a professional photography. It took a while, but I became convinced I have NONE of the required skills or equipment (other than a collection of very expensive cameras) not even a little bit. Anybody want to buy a 2000mm mirror lens for a Nikon F, with or without the camera?

I do enjoy seeing your pictures here.

Good of you to catch up with the rest of us :nana

I sent an email asking Gob why he has lost interest in the board and he indicated I might share with our viewers:
Hi again.

Just bored. Circular conversations, same people with their long held views, no one changing anyone's opinion.

US politics, although hysterically funny most of the time, is not something I want to invest time and energy in any more.

Fed up of the same people chipping in to support it, while others never contribute a penny.

BSG.

Best wishes,

Taff
Happy for you to share this with them, saves me doing it!
