You'll just have to learn to speak all proper like what we do.

You'll be able to pick up a bag of 'u's at the door to put into words like colour...

;)

There was an interview on the BBC World News on NPR last night with a train engineer from the UK who was retiring after a long career.

I could not understand a word he said. British English!

Maybe he was the guy who announced the arrivals and departures.

They are trained to be incomprehensible.

No doubt, on retirement, it’s a hard talent to lose.

But I can just imagine the conversations he has with the missus. Neither having a clue what the other is saying and in many cases, not aware the other was speaking.

What’s that lov?

I'll see if I can add Americanese to the list.

But every time I do something, I screw something else up, and have to get RB to fix it. :mron
