It depends how long it takes someone to open their PM.

It will stay in your outbox until it is read.

Hen nailed it, it's not the sped of delivery which is important, it's when the person accepts it.

Okay, now I understand...

I misunderstood what "outbox" meant....

I thought it was some sort of intermediate stage that a PM went to prior to actually being delivered to the intended recipient...(ie, "sent")

Sort of like purgatory then...

It certainly seems that folks are gradually getting less excited about opening a PM from LJ.

I was wondering when someone would make that observation, BSG....

I can just see Jim clicking back and forth impatiently waiting for that damned outbox to send his PM....
