Somebody might have mentioned that the "Absolution" board style is about ten times more attractive and readable than the default "prosilver" setting...

I was just about going blind reading this site until I came across that....

It's not my fault you were lying around on your back while we were voting for a new forum skin.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

How come my posts seem to just disappear?

I've had 3 posts just go away.

The latest is one I posted in the SNL/Python thread...

I had that issue until I realized I was hitting the wrong button. Do we really need a save button?

That's an easy one Keld...

It's because your posts suck. The scripts for this board have an anti-suck filtering system built in. The way you can get around this, is to try and write posts that don't suck so bad.

But seriously folks...

The one that worries me is the "delete" button....

I just know that one of these days I'll be editing some lengthy, brilliant, witty, insightful essay, hit the delete button by mistake, and humanity will lose the benefit of all that wisdom...

You're beginning to sound like editec.

Except he probably wouldn't realize that he hit the delete button and then blame us for not reading what he wrote.

Move the stinking submit button to a reasonable location.

At least not so far down the page...

The submit button is lower because of the smileys box - it's either less smileys and a higher button or live with it.

As for the save button - I've been caught out by that myself, however removing it is not as simple as just unticking a box - it requires multiple code edits of both skins something only myself or Daisy can do and frankly it's a lot of work for a cosmetic change which would could potentially cause issues every time the forum software gets upgraded. Is it really that big a deal? If it is I'll have a look slow time and see if theres a work around.
If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you may have misjudged the situation.

We have a cure for incessant whining ... it involves a can of WD40 and a roll of gaffer tape.

Right.

I can't get PlanB from my phone. Well, I can but it takes forever and I can't navigate it easily; posting is an impossibility. Why isn't PlanB mobile?

It occurs to me that you might be able to save some space by re-arranging the order they appear. Such as: put the hen lower in the pecking order and swap eh? and the three stooges. etc.

If you don't want alot of code the Quick Reply now is an advantage for me.

The submit button is just below and left.
