And there it is: One thing on which @meric@nwom@n and I are in complete agreement.
Reason is valuable only when it performs against the wordless physical background of the universe.

Great stuff , problem solved, thanks to both.

However the opportunity to discus board etiquette was worth while.

We now return you to your normal argument..

I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to argue unless you've paid!
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

FIX THE BUTTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Submit should be far left.

Tell me where all my saved posts have gone.

I guarantee that's where all my disappearing posts have gone...

Keld, as I learned, they are in your in box, or something like that. Go check your PM box, and there is something for "saved posts."

But I also hate that damn button. Can we make it smaller or something?

I've made this mistake a few times...

But if you click "no" at the next prompt when you're asked:

"Please note that saved drafts only include the subject and the message, any other element will be removed. Do you want to save your draft now?"

you're returned to your original screen and can go ahead and and post your message.

Since people are tossing out their pet peeves, I'll add mine...

The PM box storage capacity...

Apparently you're limited to a total of 50 messages in both your "sent" and "in" boxes....

I'm coming near my limits in both...

Anyway to increase this without breaking the bank?

The buttons aren't broken - I'm afraid thats the default set up and can only be changed by some serious manual editing of the forum software which would have to be entirely redone every time we had an upgrade and as such I am not really all that keen to even try.
If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you may have misjudged the situation.

Daaaaang!

It would prolly take me a life time to accumulate 50.

That and I don't save em...

Keld, after clicking 'User Control Panel', open 'Manage Drafts'

...that's where my saved posts go.

I tweak 'Happy Trails' posts there till I'm satisfied to 'upload' them.

I have an idea!

I've noticed that the submit button is on the far right, when at other places 'submit' or 'post' is your first choice on the left. (That's how most people read, left to right.) A few times, I've caught myself hovering the cursor over 'save', before I moved to 'submit'. Can you just switch their places? Or maybe make 'submit' glaringly huge soZ you don't mistake it?
