Also noticed, going direct to a forum, you get the oldest threads first (looks like there's nothing going on there); unlike going to 'View Active or New Posts' which give you newest threads first.

If it's not just me, could that be changed to the newest threads being listed first on the forum page?

Loca in every forum I look at the threads with the latest posts are on the top and oldest ones on the bottom - have you tried chaging your board settings in your user control panel? I have my display options set as:

Display topics from previous days: All Topics
Display topics ordering by: Post time
Display topic order direction: Descending
Display posts from previous days: All posts
Display posts ordering by: Post time
Display post order direction: Ascending

Are yours set any different?

I have a suggestion: SOMETHING to weed out the damned spambots!

We ARE trying we've changed the CAPCHA but we're going to need something more robust, mean time if people stop replying to their posts that will help nas they get spidered and that counts as a hit for them and makes us even more appealing.

I'd be totally fine with them and their threads being completely deleted, too. Sorry, but they constitute commercial speech (or an attempt thereof) which is perfectly fine to regulate.

I'm thinking along those lines too Guin.

Could topics started with mainly or only youtube links be noted so in the title? I'm blocked form youtube at work and absent new posts foget about threads that show up as empty at work by the time I get home.

I just thought I'd put up a post here to mark the one year anniversary since anyone has posted anything in this thread...(This thread has become about as active as the CSB II)

Which of course means that everything here is now perfect and no one can think of a single thing to bitch about...
