Those two, Meade and @W would head my list of folks I'd like to see back 'round these parts....

Of course Oldr and Big RR are kind of special cases because we know they were both going through rough times when they wandered away from our little group....

It would be really good to know that they're doing OK....

They all have email addresses in their registrations, why not drop them a line?

I'd like to see more Miles about here.

Ok, I've written to all the missing members whose addresses I have in my personal mail address book.

Now; who are YOU going to write to?

Jim'll Fix It.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

My brother, a Marine NCO stationed in Okinawa. But that won't make any difference here, will it?

(I don't think I have the e-mails of any missing members.)

I'd hoped to keep my missing member a secret

For Jim: http://1heckofaguy.com should be checked out at once!

You May Be A Leonard Cohen Fan If …
■You have repeatedly suggested that a Leonard Cohen song would be ideal for a wedding, bar mitzvah, or high school prom.

■You read a post at LeonardCohenForum that Leonard Cohen was seen buying a Filet-O-Fish at McDonald’s today in your hometown of Cedar Rapids and, although you know that he gave a concert in New Zealand last night, you head to Mickey D’s, … just in case.

■You found The Watchmen to be miscast, overblown, and jejune – except for the use of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” which transformed the three minute sex scene between superheroes, Nite Owl and Silk Spectre II, into a tragicomic masterpiece destined to become a cinematic classic

For Gob: "Old Ideas" came out in January. Don't I get an update on my ripped-CD subscription?

Gen'l Meade! Nice to see you sir!

Checked out that link....

(“Do I Have To Dance All Night”...No Lennie, just till I run out of bullets.....)

How about favoring us with a update of Meade's Adventures On The Dark Continent?

ETA:

Come to think of it, watching Mumbles do a soft shoe number accompanied by some Smith and Wesson mood music is something I'd pay to see... :D

I emailed @@ once (Gob provided the addy) that was a dead end.

Although actually very nice in the email she made it very clear she was never going to return.

I guess I could ask Gob for others.

So if he reads this and deems it prudent I'll do my bit (that is for those that don't supply a public address)...

ETA: I just tried to see if any were listed publicly, of the ones I checked they were not.

Have you burned some CDs for Meade in the past?

If so, I think he wants you to make a copy of a newly released CD for him from your Leonard Cohen collection. :D

You could always send him an AIM message Joe; it's set up in his profile...

I'm sure he'd be delighted to hear from you.... :D

Drop a line to Tim G, Joe, he'll pass it on to quad the next time they meet at the water cooler...

I saw that, what's an AIM? For that matter a YIM (or whatever that other was).
