It wouldn't, unless of course it did.

You must have had some Idea when you added it as an option.

Actually, I had no idea.

That's why I posted a poll.

You must have had some Idea or else you wouldn't have had it as an option after all there are infinite possibilities in this world and yet you chose to limit it to those four.

What are your true motivations?

Why can I select only one option?

I find several equally attractive yet none are my real leaning.

Is this some trick to get us to say something we didn’t mean to say?

Just what is your ulterior motive? Are you trying to rinse out the socks?

I limited the poll to four possible answers because there is a limit to how many answers can be chosen, even though four is not that limit.

My motivation is simple; A poll is either necessary or unnecessary and I'm asking whether or not one is appropriate at this time, and if not, I'm hoping for an explanation as to why or why not.

Because that's the way I set the poll up.

However, everyone, including you, has the ability to post their thoughts on the subject, which results in an unlimited number of answers being available to anyone who so chooses.

I'm not really sure I understand the point of the poll yet.

I once asked JoeGuy, "Boxers or briefs?" his reply was: "Depends."

I prefer the old poll. Polls were better in them days, they cost sixpence and lasted afortnight. My dad used to send us to the shop, and kids could walk 20 miles to the shops in those days without fear of being raped by a catholic priest, and we'd get him half a pound of suet, an eel pie, a copy of the Daily Bigot, and a poll or two.
