Yes, Jim, please listen to Gob.
Put down the bottle.
Walk away quietly and we will all pretend you said nothing.
Good night.

... for Carly Simon. Regardless, it's best to humor him in the wake of Obama's record breaking feat this week, otherwise he might fall back into his Karl Rove mode.
That's a nice link Ray...I hadn't seen that one before...
To be honest, we had re-watched Dark Shadows last night, and I had Roger Moore on my mind because I had seen him interviewed yesterday morning on Morning Joe (God I hope I look that good when I'm 85) in conjunction with a new book he's got out, entitled; Bond on Bond :50 years of James Bond (I'm going to make a point of reading that one)
And then I had a couple of cocktails, and came down to check some things in my office, and posted a couple of things that in retrospect may seem a little "stream of consciousness"...
See how easy that was to admit?
(I do however, take some comfort from the fact that there are some folks who post much worse, stone cold sober... )

Stream of consciousness is, um, generous.
But I'm in a good mood, so stream of consciousness it is!

I'm feeling even more generous, so "then I had a couple of cocktails", will not be commented on...
Edited to add;
A bar in New York is serving a new cocktail called "The Sandy". Though it's really just a watered down Manhattan.
Sorry!! Sorry!!!! couldn't resist. Sorry!!

LJ has a couple cocktails upstairs (assuming he was with his wife and hoping he wasn't only focused on Roger Moore) and then floats downstairs singing, 'nobody does it better'...
My guess is that Lord Jim either fell in love with Roger Moore last night or he had a good night with his wife.
We can all be relieved that he wasn't singing the Octopussy song.
Don't even bother listening...

Oh I read his post as saying "Nobody does I better"
